Fishing at Horns Dam Caravan Park

Carp & Coarse Fishing in Lancashire

The Horns Dam Caravan Park is a leading destination for carp fishing in Lancashire and coarse fishing holidays in the UK. Set in peaceful countryside, the park features three well-stocked lakes offering excellent fishing for both experienced anglers and beginners.

Horns Dam – Specimen Carp Fishing

The main lake, Horns Dam, is a four-acre water with 40 pegs, known for its specimen carp fishing. Anglers regularly catch carp up to 30lb, alongside bream, tench, roach, rudd, chub, and perch. This makes it one of the most popular day ticket fisheries in Lancashire for those targeting larger fish.

Top Lake – Match & Pleasure Fishing

Top Lake is ideal for match fishing and pleasure anglers, producing consistent catches of carp averaging around 8lb. With reliable sport throughout the year, it’s perfect for anglers looking for action-packed sessions and competitive fishing.

Long Lake – Ideal for Beginners & Families

Long Lake offers accessible and enjoyable fishing for beginners and families. With a healthy stock of carp and silver fish, it provides steady bites and a relaxed fishing experience for all ages.

On-Site Fishing Holidays

Guests at Horns Dam Caravan Park benefit from on-site fishing, allowing you to fish just steps from your caravan or pitch. This makes it an excellent choice for fishing holidays in Lancashire, combining comfortable accommodation with high-quality angling.
